Final Thoughts!
So my beautiful daughter is due in about 5 weeks. SO we really need a final opinion on her name. My husband thinks one name is best and I think the other. (of course we dont agree!) So we both agreed that whatever name got the most replies we would probably go with. We have our son Caleb Matthew and our daughter Savannah Paige. So we picked names (of course with everyones help) The final 2 names. Take a look and....vote for mine:) just kidding whatever you think sounds best!
His- Bryn Casey
Mine- Lyla Catherine
Their different names but I do love them both and would be happy to name our daughter either of them, Thanks for your Help!!!

I love Bryn as well, but preferr the two n's as well. Although I do have a little girl named Brynlee and I thought about putting a second n in her name so when we call her Bryn it would have two n's but it looked funny! Anyway, I have never known a boy or man named Bryn, only girls. Not many, but definitely all girls. I have a friend who named her daughter Bryn Elizabeth and I think it is beautiful. My dd is Brynlee Julia (whom we call Bryn a lot) so I think Brynn Julia would be pretty. I like Lyla Catherine, but I hear Lyla a lot, so I like that Bryn is different! Good luck, but it sounds like you have won, if you really want to use our opinions to solve the dilema! LOL

Thanks Everyone!
My husband keeps checking on this post everyday and yelling "It's a GIRLS NAME!" lmao.
Althought I agree with everyone, he is still convinced it sounds girly lol. Now he is researching new middle names.
Men, Such sore losers.
but at the end I think we are going to name her Lyla Catherine! Which makes me very happy, and I guess he'll come around.

I love Bryn spelled Brynn but I know where I live in the UK, Bryn/n is very much a boys name. Adding Casey onto that just makes it even more masculine. I adore the name Lyla Catherine. Very pretty and sweet! I think Caleb Matthew, Savannah Paige and Lyla Catherine would be adorable!

I'd vote for Lyla Catherine. Lyla's so lovely, and I love the combo. I really adore the name Brynn, though (I like it much more with two Ns), but I'm not too big on it paired with Casey. Lyla Catherine flows so much nicer.

I like Brynn (with two n's!) much more than Lyla. However, I'm not a fan of Bryn Casey, especially since (as others have mentioned) both are unisex names. I think the two n's makes the name a little more feminine (like Lynn but with more spunk). Casey just seems kind of dated! I recall it being your husbands name... if I remember correctly!
So... with reluctance, I pick Lyla Catherine unless you're still willing to entertain middle name options for Brynn or are willing to entertain first name options with Brynn as the middle (I think that would work with Savannah having a short middle name!).

Okay.... So I agree that Bryn Casey sounds a little to masculine. Perhaps if it had a more feminine middle name, such as Catherine, that would get my vote. It's a compromise, but I think Bryn Catherine sounds nice :) But as the names stand right now.... Lyla Catherine gets my vote.

Bryn Casey struck me as very masculine when I looked at it. I much prefer Lyla Catherine.
I agree. :) Lyla Catherine is so pretty!
I love Bryn, but traditionally, it's a Welsh boys' name, and I love it as a way to honor my Welsh heritage, and the only Bryn I've known is a guy--who is also kind of a hunk, haha--so I can't really picture Bryn on a sweet little girl at all, sorry. Especially with the gender-neutral Casey as a MN. Lyla Catherine, though, is all sweetness and class!

I love Lyla Catherine. It's quite lovely! I'm baised towards Catherine as it will be one of my girls middle names and it's my sister, Nicola's, middle name.
Where I live Bryn is masculine! Such a little boys name and then paired up with Casey I think it's a little too boy-ish for a girl!
My vote Lyla Catherine!
