Miley

I love the name Miley! It's so cute and sweet. I don't know any Miley's personally. It's adorable :)

Around here it is used quite a bit.  I have two good friends with Miley's...one is spelled Mylie though.  I also know a Mylee, but in this area we have a lot of names that people find different or odd.  The little girls I know named Miley are way too cute so I no longer see the name as Miley Cyrus, although at first that is all I could think of as well.  Now, all I see are their cute smiling faces.

I also know of a Maile who pronounces it Miley, but no matter pronunciation, I think of Miley Cyrus which is a negative association for me.

I use to know of a Maile (I'm not sure if that was the spelling, but it wasn't Miley) when I lived in Scotland. She was my older brother's friend's older sister.. She always seemed quite lovely. I've actually heard of a few Miley's in Scotland.. I'm not keen on the name either with either spelling, sounds a little chavvy to me. 

I think it has a cute sound, but Miley is way too much Miley Cyrus for me.  I like the Hawaiian Maile (said the same way) much more--it seems much classier to me, and I love the Hawaiian influence.  Maile has existed for years upon years--Miley is very new and quite made-up, or so it feels like.
