its a girl!!!!

i completely understand the name not having meaning. my daughter nollie was named after my husbands cousin who died in a house fire. his name was joseph.... but he taught my husband how to skateboard and the trick he was teaching him was Nollie right before he passed away. my husband was in the fire to, but he made it out in time. joe was my husbands idol. so instead of naming her joey or josephine we named her nollie. and since her name is SOOO different i stuck Paige as the middle name to kinda calm the name down :) and it has worked well and fits her perfectly.

as for aurora. i love it. the song my husband and i danced to at our wedding was a beatles song. but we cant use that song as a middle name we decied on jude. we love it!!! its perfect :) thanks for all ur opinions ladies :)

I really do love the way Jude flows with Aurora. I love the name! It's lovely.

I absolutely love Aurora!  I like Ari better as a nn, and I can't really see Jude on a girl (of course, all I can think of is all the Judahs, Judes, and Judases in the Bible), but I've been liking Rora a lot lately, and Aurora Jude does work well.  I like that the frilly Aurora balances out the more masculine Jude.  :)  Besides, it's nice to have a special connection somewhere in the name--I've hated being Ashley Marie just because my parents thought it "sounded good", with no other meaning behind it.

nollie isnt short for anything. her name is nollie paige :) my husband picked out jude because of the beatles song. and i loved it for a girl. a few people have been telling me its a boys name but, it sounds like a girl name to me.  so we stuck with it. we love the name and are so happy we finally picked one :)

I love Aurora! I'm a little confused by Jude just because it is a boy's name in my mind. How did you pick that? What is Nollie's middle name and is Nollie short for anything?
