I just read your reply about the girls' middle names, whoops! All comments on the individual names still hold (I forgot to say something about Eden - it's gorgeous, but I prefer Eve, Evelyn, and Evangeline!)
With Catherine Rose and Elizabeth Tate in mind as middle names. I would say Penelope Catherine Rose and then go for Poppy, Lola, Ellie, or Posy as per your preference (if you even like Penelope, ha!) and I guess Emilia Elizabeth Tate (Emy, Milly, Mia, Mila, or Lia could all work as cute nicknames!). If you don't like Penelope, then I like Matilda Elizabeth Tate and Emilia Catherine Rose!
Also, if you don't like the Emilia spelling, I would definitely go for Amelia over Emily!
Thank you for replying! :) Yes, you're right my boys have 2 middle names also. They are Kendall Timothy John and Addison Bradley James.. Both boys middle names are after family and so are the girls' middle names. I think Penelope is darling however my boyfriend isn't keen on the name! I've been pushing it since I was pregnant with Kendall. I also love Emilia. If my oldest son, Kendall, was a girl he would of been Emilia Walsh Rose. We never even considered it this time. I'm not sure why. I think we just forgot about it! I'll run that by Jack! :)

Your boys have two middle names, right? Will the girls??
Emily - why not Emilia to combine it with Amelia?
Amelia - see above
Daisy - I kind of think of a cow as with Betsy, but to a lesser extent
Éire - I like it for middle!
Ruby - very cute, but too cute?
Poppy - I like this as a nickname for Penelope?
Molly - same as with Ruby
Chloe - same as with Molly and Ruby!
Eden (After River Eden in Scotland)
Matilda - I adore this name! I really have nothing more to say, it's beautiful. I love Milly and Tilly as nicknames
Florence - not my style
Isla - very pretty, but too short for me, personally
Scarlett - I definitely prefer Charlotte, but I suppose it is too popular, or does that not bother you?
Lola - I love this as a nickname for Charlotte or Penelope
Betsy - I'm not going to lie, I automatically think of a cow... that is kind of it
Billie-Rose - yikes.. I just really dislike Billie on girls, what about Briar-Rose? or, simply, Rose?
Cecily - I kind of like this, but prefer Cecelia
Jemima - Aunt Jemima is a brand name in the US, so I think of the lovely pancake and syrup lady, haha
Ellie - this could also work as a nn for Penelope
Would you be willing to consider Penelope? I think it works well with your boys and can give you Poppy, Lola, or Ellie as nicknames. Penelope Éire sounds beautiful to me. Penelope Rose is a total name crush of mine, I like that Posy becomes a nickname option with the P- from Penelope and the -ose from Rose!
Emilia (which basically sounds the same to me as Amelia) is also gorgeous. I love Emilia Eden or Emilia Daisy (Emilia Briar-Rose or Emilia Briar is pretty too!)
Matilda is my other favorite if you aren't willing to consider Penelope. Matilda Eden, Matilda Rose, Matilda Briar-Rose, Matilda Daisy, and Matilda Florence could all work beautifully.
If I got to pick, the girls would be Penelope Éire and Emilia Eden/Briar/Daisy (I can't seem to pick a middle name, they are in preference order, but I can't commit to one and I know Briar wasn't on the list!)

Wow, thank yous! I wasn't expecting you lot to comment on all or most names! Very very much appreciated! :) Thank you!
JordyGirl- I'm glad you love Éire! Since you're from the UK too, I have a question to how you think it would be perceived here? I'm afraid it might possibly be able to be considered chavvy...
Cheers!
-Olivia!
I personally think that it would sound beautiful and not at all chavvy. I asked my husband about the name and he LOVES it. (which is amazing because hes so stubborn when it comes to names!) The only problem with it might be the pronunciation...I didnt know how to pronounce until you wrote it out. But if that doesnt bother you then I think its stunning!

thelionandthebell- Well it seems like loads of names! Thank you so much for taking the time to reply to each individual name in length! Really appreciate it! Billie-Rose isn't a name I'm rooting too much for, however since Nigel (my 13 year old nephew) was so set on suggesting it (only every time I mentioned names) I'd figure we would atleast consider it for him! Betsy is also per his request, but I do think it's quite cute! :) If Betsy was to be used her middle name would be Catherine Rose. The girls middle names will be Catherine Rose and Elizabeth Tate after my sisters and mum. I don't think we are really going for names that 'flow' with each other otherwise we'd have to consider Jake's daughter's name in that too!
JordyGirl- I'm glad you love Éire! Since you're from the UK too, I have a question to how you think it would be perceived here? I'm afraid it might possibly be able to be considered chavvy...
RedHeadedMiss- Thank you for replying! It's funny to see the perceptions of names and how they differ in America and England. Daisy is quite popular here! So is Emily. Always has been and I have a feeling it alway will be. Poppy is extremely popular here too! Also top 10, I think. As for Florence and Jemima.. They are definitely on the rise! I've heard of SOOO many little girls with Florence as a middle name (I still think it's adorable though) and I know of quite a few Jemima's that have been born in the past couple years! Weird to think of them as "old lady" and out of fashion! As for Matilda, I wouldn't use Maddy/Mattie as a nickname! I agree with you Tilly is much better!
Bunko0- thank you for replying! I appreciate your feedback! :) Like I mentioned to RedHeadedMiss, Florence is relatively popular here (UK), Jemima is on the rise and Isla already is super popular here! I wouldn't use Betsy as a nickname for anything. Elizabeth will already be one of the girls middle names. If I was to use Betsy it's be paired with Catherine Rose.
Cheers!

Emily--nice, but common
Amelia--lovely
Daisy--cute
Éire--Doesn't matter how many times I look at this, I will always think it's "EYE-rah."
Ruby--cute
Poppy--a bit cutesy for my taste, but I think it could work
Molly--sweet
Chloe--cute but popular
Eden--eh, not my style
Matilda--nice
Florence--I prefer Flora. Florence, in my opinion, won't sound fresh again for another few decades.
Isla--pretty, but getting very popular very fast
Scarlett--very spunky, I like it
Lola--"I met her in a club down in old Soho where you drink champagne and it tastes just like Coca-Cola..."
Betsy--only as a nickname for Elizabeth
Billie-Rose--I'd like it better without the hyphen, or even as a nickname for Wilhelmina Rosette.
Cecily--I like Cecile/Cecilia more.
Jemima--Aunt Jemima.
Ellie--only as a nickname for something.

I love your taste in names!
In order from most to least favorite
I love:
Matilda- I LOVE this name! It is beautiful and sweet and the only thing that keeps me from using it myself (which I still might because I adore it), is the possible Maddy nn...I am so tired of all the Maddys th^at I wouldn't want my daughter to be another. There is also Tilly though which is cuter
Ruby- Gorgeous. Vintage. Love!
Scarlett- See above ^
Isla- Beautiful! Short and sweet.
I like but I have issues with:
Daisy-so sweet and really not overly popular..it is a little bit country which keeps me from really loving it completly
Eire-I think the spelling and proununciation will be an issue for her (then again, I am from the States so it may only be from my perspective...in the UK you all may be used to these spellings/proununciations!)
Amelia-So sweet, although it is a bit too popular lately for my taste
Molly-Adorable, but a bit too much of a pet's name here...I know more dogs named Molly than people
Lola-The name is very sweet, but I have issues with the very popular songs about showgirls and transvesties :-/ not a good connection
Eden-Gorgeous name! I have had a bad experience with an Eden growing up which keeps me from loving it but obviously that is personal to me so it shouldn't affect how you feel about the name :-)
Betsy-Cute but almost too cutesy for me...sounds like a dog or a stuffed animal
I don't like:
Ellie-While this is an adorable nn, I don't see it as a full name
Emily-This name was very cute decades ago, but now I think it is too dated
Poppy-Because it sounds exactly the same, this name reminds me of Papi which is a Spanish grandpa...not feminine or cute
Chloe-I have never liked this name...or Zoe either..."Oee" sound very childish to me..but a lot of people love them!
Cecily-I have never seen the appeal of this name, I don't like it but I can't really give you a reason..the sounds just aren't appealing imo
Florence-This name is too "old-ladyish"..and this is coming from a person who loves vintage names! This one reads frumpy thoug
Billie Rose- My dad's name is Billy so i see how this could be used as a girl's name because I have thought about it myself..however, it is too country bumpkin sounding to me (I hope that isn't too harsh for you...this is some feedback I recieved while talking about considering this name and I found it helpful)h
Jemima-I do not see this as a viable name...it is used as a teasing name too often...I see this name along the same lines as Bertha :-/
So, to recap in order from most to least favorite is:
Matilda
Ruby
Scarlett
Isla
Daisy
Eire
Amelia
Molly
Lola
Eden
Betsy
Ellie
Emily
Poppy
Chloe
Cecily
Florence
Billie Rose
Jemima
Phew...that was a lot! Good Luck!!

I love the fact that you want to honour your dad, I think it is such a special thing to do.
My favourites are:
Amelia
Eire (cant do the accent on my laptop but I just think this is sooo gorgeous!)
Poppy
Eden
Matilda (LOVE the nn Mattie!)
Florence
Scarlett
Lola
Billie-Rose (I really like this name but if you have a nephew called Billy then it may be a bit confusing lol)
The other names are nice, they just aren't my style.

lol, loads of names? It doesn't seem like that much to me!
Emily - I quite love Emily, but since it was the number 1 name in America for over 10 years, I'm still a bit tired of hearing it. It seems a slight bit dated and still quite popular, but it's still quite classic and so pretty, so I'm torn. I do like it a lot, though!
Amelia - while I appreciate the significance of Amelia, it's a name I've never really loved, sorry. Its nicknames are sweet, but Amelia's always seemed quite frumpy to me.
Daisy - very sweet! I've come to quite like it as a MN, but as a FN it does seem a bit cutesy to me.
Eire - I quite like it! How do you think it'd be received there? I know when Ireland is brought up as a name over here, a lot of people say that people in Ireland would think it such a weird name, like it's not even a name at all, so I'm curious how Eire would be received. I do like it a lot, though, and it has such a lilting, soft, lyrical sound.
Ruby - so sweet and spunky, I really love it.
Poppy - again, love! I slightly prefer Posey but Poppy is so cute. I do prefer it as a longer name with the nn Poppy, though. Like Penelope or Josephine.
Molly - eh. I've never really loved it, sorry. It sounds cute, but I prefer a longer name... I just can't imagine a businesswoman named Molly. I think Mary and Amalia make nice longer forms.
Chloe - it's very overdone over here atm, but it is very sweet and I do like it as a MN. I love the nns Clover and Lola, too, although they're just as long as Chloe is, haha.
Eden - love! Eden's a MN for one of my FNs (Charlotte Eden Rue). I think Edie is really sweet as a nn. I know an Edyn, nn Edie, and she's just the cutest.
Matilda - again, love! I adore the nn Tilly, and Matilda as a full name is so quirky and fun.
Florence - I don't love Florence, but I do love Flora as a nn! I think you could even use Lola as a nn, too.
Isla - I can't really imagine using it, personally, but it's a lovely name and I'd love to see others use it!
Scarlett - it's becoming quite trendy over here atm. I prefer Charlotte and Violet, personally, although I know your husband was having problems with the violent connections with Violet.
Lola - absolutely adore! I would have used just Lola but it seems a bit cutesy to me. I opted for Charlotte nn Lola, but I think it's usable on its own, or you could even use it as a nn for Chloe or Florence.
Betsy - I've heard people talking about this on other naming boards... it still feels very old-lady to me, but I guess it's really sweet to some. I would go for Elizabeth/Elisabeth nn Betsy (or you could just do Elizabeth and decide whether Ellie or Betsy fits her better...).
Billie-Rose - cute, I guess, but it feels very Southern/redneck to me. Maybe because of Billie, or maybe because it's double-barrel, I couldn't say. It just doesn't appeal to me, though, sorry.
Cecily - like a lot. I think Cici, Celie, or even Celia are sweet nicknames for it, and I like just Cecily, too. The association to The Importance of Being Earnest gets to me every time!
Ellie - very cute, but very nicknamey. I know nicknames as given names are all the trend in the UK, but it kind of baffles me, lol. I guess it's coming here, but I don't know if I'll ever get used to children being just Ellie, Evie, Sam, Ben, Charlie, etc. when they used to be Eloise/Eleanor/Elizabeth, Evelyn/Eva/Evangeline, Samuel/Sampson, Benjamin/Bennett/Benedict/Reuben, and Charles/Charlotte/Charlize/Charlene...
As they are, from your list I like Matilda and Cecily best, I think. They work together really well and also work well with Kendall and Addison, imo. I really like Eden and Lola as a pair, and Isla and Poppy, and Ruby and Ellie. Or maybe even Matilda and Eden, nns Tilly and Edie? That would be cute.
Good luck!
