I have been thinking about the name Andrea for my DD ( I would pronounce it Ann-dree-ah) and her nickname would be Andi what do you think of the name and nickname? I always though Andi was a fun and spunky nickname and it reminds me of the beautiful Andie Macdowell.

Andrea is a lovely name, and Andi is cute.

I think this is a lovely name! I am going to disagree with the PPer and say that I think Andrea nn Andi is better than Andi/Andie. If there is ever a time where your daughter wants to go by Andrea (which, to me, sounds more professional), then she can easily do it. I know an Andria whose husband calls her Ann in a pinch :)

Cute! Love this idea, though if you know you're always going to call her Andi, why not name her Andi (or Andie for a more feminine touch)?
