I've always been a fan of different names. I want my child to have their own identity, i don't want them associated with someone else because of their name. I have a long list of names I like, yes i know its really long, (different, and common) I would like to hear your thoughts on them! Rate them, give opinions, suggest other names. Its up to you :) thanks!

Boys

Ashton - I personally dont like any Ash names, I know too many Ashley's.

Boys

Ashton - I absolutely adore the nickname Ash. Like, it's my top boys name, I just can't justify using just Ash, so I'm trying to get myself to love Ashton or Asher, and not having much luck. I can't hear Ashton without thinking of Ashton Kutcher. Since you said you don't want them associated with someone else, I'd avise no on this one. But I do love Ash so much....

Bennett - Too surname-y for my tastes. I also sort of see it as a dog name, but that might just be me. Not really my style, though.

Braxton - NMS

Carter - Cute, simple. I find it a little too common-sounding, but it's a solid choice

Chace - If this is meant to be Chase or Chance, then yes. I've been really loving Chase recently, and Chance is fun as well. Though is Chace isn't a typo, it rather looks like one...

Gavin - Gavin DeGraw. Personally, not my style.

Kayson - Eh, nms. I like Kaycee/Kaysee/etc for a girl, or Jason for a boy. Kayson just seems off to me.

Keaton - too surname-y for me.

Keenan - Ehh, not really my favorite. I like Keirnan, though.

Keirce - See above, I like Kiernan a lot better.Maybe Keirian/Kyrian? Or Keiran?

Koby - NMS

Kyson - I actually kid of like it. It's different, but cute.

Levi - Never really liked it, and now one of my friends is dating a Levi, and I just can't help but think his name sounds childish. It doesn't age well.

Lincoln - Never liked it, I just don't like the look or sound. I kind of like the nickname Link, but not enough.

Noel - I like the girls Noelle better.

Parker - Kinda neutral about it, it's a good name, I just don't really love it.

Preston - Sounds rather stuck-up to me. Like you expect it on some rich brat.

Porter - NMS

Ryder - Not really my style. Spelt Rider, maybe.

Ryker - I like Ryder better.

Sawyer - NMS

Slater - Always makes me thing "slaughter," so I don't like it much...

Vaughn - been growing on me recently. So have Van and Vane, though.

Zane - Cute, simple. I like it.

Zayden - Extremely trendy. I'm not too big on the -ayden names....

Girls

Abigail - So cute!

Alexia - I prefer Alexa or Alexis

Avery - Hate it on a girl. It's 100% boy to me.

Ella - Very trendy, but very pretty.

Hayden - Also too trendy for me.

Kaylyn - NMS

Keria - Different, but pretty. I kind of like it.

Kendall - not a favorite, it's too common for me.

Kennedy - Never liked it. Too surname, and kind of male in my opinion.

Lilly - I love Lilly!!! I sort of lean toward te spelling Lily, but I adore Lilly as well.

Madison - Super trendy when I was younger, I thnk less so now, but I wouldn't use it for that reason...

Mckenna - Was this awful girl I knew in high school...

Natasha - Kind of outdated, but cute. Quirky.

Reagan - NMS

Scarlett - Never liked it much. I apreciate it's classic nature, but I see the word scar in it too easily. And it's too harsh to me.

Sienna - I think of the crayon color Burnt Sienna. It's pretty, though. What about Sierra?

Sydney - Cute, spunky.

Zoey - I prefer Zoe, but I love it either way!

Hope that helps!!

Ashton- this ones obvious, he'll get a lot of "Oh like Kutcher?"s.

Bennett-  I like this name a lot, very formal, I think of a man in a business tux.

Braxton- Personally reminds me of a very rude boy neighbor I had growing up.

Carter- A lot of his clothes might already have his name on them! (Carter's)

Chase- A bank, and its also very popular where I'm from

Gavin- I like this one, its been around a little while, but its also not too common.

Kayson- I like it but I would use it for more of a boy-girl name.

Keaton- Diane.

Keenan- and Kell!

Keirce- I like it, very unique, definately won't find this one on a souvenier license plate keychain.

Koby- Maybe he'll play basketball

Kyson- I don't like this, it just sounds like someone wasn't allowed to name their kid Tyson and so they were like "Oh, I'll just change the first letter."

Levi- Cute, I bet he'll be a smarty

Lincoln- Are you serious? You're either joking or Lincolns biggest fan. The only acceptable reason is the latter.

Noel- If you pronounce it No-elle then no, girls with boys names= cute, boys with girls names= creepy. If its more like Knoll its fine, but you no the first roll call of every school year is going to be tough.

Parker- Spiderman!

Preston- Aren't pigs always named Preston?

Porter- I would think the kids gonna be hefty, or a seafaring man.

Ryder- Lord of the Rings!

Ryker- I really like this, it seems dark and adventurous.

Sawyer- I like it, however it gives me a deceitful vibe.

Slater- A typical bad guy name.

Vaughn- Vince! That said, I like this name.

Zane- I like it, its bold.

Zayden- COME ON PEOPLE, "Jayden Kayden Aiden Hayden Peyton, OH I KNOW, a Z! That'll make the name different!"

Girls

Abigail- Breslin. Its a beautiful name that makes me think of lace.

Alexia- Pretty, but so is Alexis. Do you want her nickname to be Lexi or Alex?

Avery- Is one of the few boy names that I wouldn't give a girl. It is pretty though, I imagine a girl avery to be pretty, but in an average way.

Ella- Literally it means she. So what could be more feminine? In my personal optinion its kind of lazy though.

Hayden- yup.

Kaylyn- You've read my thoughts on Zayden right?

Keria- THIS IS SO PRETTY I LOVE IT.

Kendall- I like this one, a perfect boy-girl name.

Kennedy- I don't like the last name first game, but I actually think this a very pretty girls name.

Lilly- is pretty but its more of a nickname

Madison- I've always thought this name was beautiful, she would be Maddy.

McKenna- I LOVE LOVE LOVE this name, it was one I had picked out for my girl.

Natasha- In my personal experience, every Natasha I've come into contact with has been rotten.

Reagan- This is also a cool exception to my dislike of the last name first game.

Scarlett- "With God as my witness, I will NEVA go hungry A-GAY-YUN!"

Sienna- Miller, Burnt Sienna. Sienna means paint made from soil that is Reddish-Orange Brown. She could be artsy, or she could be messy. I don't really like it, but I don't have an arguement for it.

Sydney- is not a name I would personally choose, however I'm indifferent to it.

Zoey- Is such a pretty name. Zooey Deschanel!? Zoey Saldana? Beautiful!
