We currently have a girl called Amelia Jane, and are expecting a sibling for her in December. Any thoughts on the ideas we have are greatly appreciated.
Girl - which name with Madeline do you like best? which name(s) do you prefer?

Gabrielle Ethne
Boy - which combo works best? which name(s) do you prefer?

Pretty sure we have got it decided now!
Ruby Susanna is choice number one for a girl, and Chloe Madeline second.
Then either Charlie James or Caleb Jack for a boy - not sure on order of fave yet!!

I would pronounce Madeline - mad uh lyn (as that is how my Nana's middle name was said)
Ethne is pretty much how it looks (was my other Nana's name) - eth nee

I have an Amelia too :) Nice choice. I also have Jack, so we have very similar taste.
I think Chloe Madeline flows really nicely and Amelia & Chloe are a gr8 sibset. Bella Madeline is nice too, but I think Bella needs a longer name, or it feels to nicknamey to me. Isabelle/a, Annabelle/a are my fave options.
So obviosuly I'm biased with Jack, but for some reason i'm not sure it really works as a mn. Noah James is great! Also love Charlie James.
Amelia & Noah or Amelia & Charlie work perfectly!

LOVE Bella Madeline, that's adorable. I wouldn't use just Bella on its own, though--I think Isabella Madeline nn Bella would be perfect with Amelia Jane. I really, really love Ruby Susanna, too.
From your boys' list, I love Caleb Jack. Then again, Caleb and Jack are both on my top 5. :) I also love Noah and Charlie, although I'd use Charles nn Charlie.

How are you pronouncing Madeline? Everyone seems to have different ways on this. I pronounce it mad-uh-line by default, so my opinions are based on that.... It's one of my favorite names, though, so I'm happy to see it used!!
I like Chloe Madeline best of the Madeline combos, though Chloe's not my favorite. I just don't think Riley or Bella flow as well. With the order switched though, I think Madeline Bella would be lovely, even though I'm hesitant about Bella's popularity.
Gabrielle is beautiful as well, but another question, how do you pronounce Ethne?
As for boys, I LOVE James, I've been considering it as a middle name for all my favorites. Noah's not a favorite name, but Noah James is a great combo!! Caleb James would be great as well. I definitely prefer Caleb over Noah, but I like the combination of Noah James best.....
