Helena Beatrix
Thoughts on this combo? I keep coming back to it today, I really find myself falling for it. She'd probably go by Leni (Lenny) and Lena, as well as the full Helena (maybe even Lena Bea/Leni Bea?).
How do you think it fits with Isabelle, Arianne, Olivia, Violet, Rachel, Liliana, Charlotte, Hannah, Eve/Genevieve/Evie?
Thanks, ladies!

I love it! Helena and Beatrix are both gorgeous and I didn't think of Harry Potter until I read the comments. Its more Shakespearian in my opinion which makes me like it even more. It fits well with your other names except I think Helena & Hannah or Helena & Liliana would be too close for sisters.

Yup, I immediately thought Harry Potter too because Helena Bonham Carter plays Bellatrix Lestrange. Lol. I don't think it's unusable but any major Harry Potter fan will probably make this connection, since Beatrix and Bellatrix are pretty close
I own a HP website and didn't think of Helena Bonham Carter.

The nerd in me instantly thought of Helena Bonham Carter playing Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter.
Otherwise I like it and the nn options. I agree that maybe its a bit close to Hannah, but it still fits nicely with the other fn's you've got.
Hope this helps!

I like it : ) It's my cousins name. We pronounce it the Shakesperean way and she goes by H (aitch) as a nickname.

And Helen-a is waaay to close Hannah for me. He-lay-na is a little better and I could see someone using them on twins but still to close for me.

It's a very Harry Potter-esque combo. Since Helena Bonham Carter plays Bellatrix in the HP films. I'm sure no one else would think of that, though! I like her in that part though, so it's a good thing to me, haha.
That's what I thought immediatly, too! Harry Potter's still so recent a phenomenon that I think that might be a common association. I don't dislike it because of that, either, but it's definitely something to consider! And since you usually like the double middle name, you'll have a third name in there to couner-balance it. So long as that's not a Harry Potter name, it would be just fine.
I think it's a really cute combo, though! Helena definitely fits well with your other girl choices, and I think Beatrix is adorable. I've only ever met one, who pronounces it Hel-LAY-nuh, but I always say it Helen-uh as well (Shakespeare!) I think either way is really pretty, though, overall I really like the name. And the nickname Leni/Lenny'd be really cute. Not as big a fan of Lena or Lena Bea, though, somehow they seem no less formal than the full Helena, and I usually think nicknames should be more cutesy and fun.

I like Helena a lot but only when pronounced He-lay-na. The Helen-a pronunciation reminds me of the cheesy old Hercules cartoon. I also think He-lay-na goes better with your other names then Helen-a.
I'm not sure about the combo though. It seems off somehow but the more I say it the easier it gets so maybe its just me.

I like it! How do you pronounce Helena? Most people I've met have pronounced it like, "Heh-layna" but I knew a girl in High School who pronounced it like, "Hell-enn-uh." I prefer the "Heh-layna" pronunciation, but that's just my personal taste. I'm not a fan of the nickname Leni, it sounds like the name of an older black man who plays jazz music, LOL. It's just not pretty sounding like all of your other names and nicknames. I think Lena is pretty. Helena as a whole fits well with your other names, but it's a bit similar to Hannah.
lol! I'm so out of the HP loop it's not even funny. I like Helena for the Shakespearean connection (and that it honors my sister, who has a variation of it for her MN).
I say Helen-ah. That's so weird, haha, on another site I frequent people have gone so far as to tell a friend there that the heh-LAY-nah pronunciation was wrong, and that no one would follow it! Which is just crazy, both are acceptable. I prefer the Helen-ah sound, though, especially if I used the nn Leni.
