Need help with names!
We don't know what we're having yet but Hubby and I differ greatly on what we think are good names for our second child. It has to be a little different (not crazy) as our daughter's name is a little different and starts with an M. My husbands favorite boy name is Lincoln. We've also liked Sebastian and Maddox. As for girls, we both like Diem ( pronounced DM lol) and Felecity. However, I do like the idea of both of my kids starting with M. If girls name is M, middle name will have to be Lee. If her name is going to be Diem, we alreaady have a middle name, Analiese. I'm trying to think of some M names for both boy/girl he might like but he pretty much shoots them all done. Do any of you have any suggestions for names I may have not thought of??

Okay, so today my history teacher was talking about the Vietnam War, and he mentioned Ngo Dinh Diem, referring to him simply as "Diem."
"Diem was a horrible leader," he said, "but we supported him because he wasn't a communist."
That was an association I hadn't thought of before.

Finally someone sees the beauty in Diem like I do!! =) I also love Bryce too as a boys name

I actually LOVE Diem as a middle name. I plan on my naming my first girl Aubrey Diem and my first boy Bryce Harper.

For girls names that begin with M that are slightly unusual:
Marigold
Marguerite
Mara
Marina
Milan
Milo (probably not with Lee though)
Minerva
Miranda (although that may be more trendy now)
Miriam
Morgan
Morgandy
Maya (I love this name, but it is fairly popular now I think. It probably would have been my son's name if he were a girl)
I love Maya too but you are right, it's getting too popular. My whole thing is, I don't want their to be another child with my kid's name in their class lol. I love Milan too

Love Lincoln, keep it! A similar strong name starting with M could be Magnus or Mitchell.
Apologies, not a fan of Diem but Felicity is lovely. M girls name to go with Lee: Matilda, Melody, Magenta, Megan, Millicent(shortened to Milly).
Good luck x

Lincoln's an awesome name. I have it comboed as Charles Lincoln :D
Maddox is also a cool name. It's very surnamey but I think it's popular enough to not be thought of as such
I've never liked the name Sebastion, sorry :( I always think of the crab from the little mermaid so Sebastion automatically makes me think 'seafood'. Plus I find the word bastion to be sort of unpleasant.
Carpe Diem? I've never heard of Diem as a name before, it just seems strange to me. Sorry
Felecity's nice! It's not very common but I think it's pretty :)
Lincoln might be here to stay. Everyone I have mentioned it to loves it. I don't normally get that response with names I think of. Sebastian makes me think of the little mermaid too, and I think thats why I like it! lol.
Maddox is still there but I don't like the fact that now it is used for both male and female. Then again, I did run into a board where someone was going to name their daughter Lincoln. That annoyed me a little bit. I really don't like when people use names that are clearly gender specific and decide to make them unisex.

Diem is too weird IMO. Also, I don't recommend using Analiese with that spelling because of the first four letters. (Anneliese and Annelise are fine, though.) I like Felicity and Lee.
Here are my ideas for names:
Girls
Mariana
Maëlle (may ELL)
Maya/Maia/Maja
Melody/Mélodie
Maribel/Mirabelle
Marisela
Boys
Marcel
Marco/Marcus
Mateo
I am seriously wondering how I did not catch the very wrong spelling of "analiese" hahaha. I do like the name Melody.. I guess I am pretty picky as well as my hubby. It seems to be harder than it should to pick names
