Two years after Harper was born, we suffered a miscarriage and decided to adopt. We adoped 1 year old twins, one girl and one boy! Harper was a little hesitant at first to be around the babies, but after a day or two in the house, Harper got used to the twins and has loved having someone to play with! It was hard going from one child to three, but we have gotten used to it!

When Byron is 6 months old they adopt a 2 year old girl, Freya Noelle

Life with 2 young children is very tiring. Carter's sister moved in with the family and is a huge help.

Well, it's been 3 years since Maya was born. Carter and I have had a lot of fun with her but I yearned for another baby. We really wanted to expand our family here in Pennslyvania, out in the country. I really wanted as well as Carter to have a little sibling so we looked at adoption and we adopted a newborn girl named December Elise Kelly. She is a handful but I love her and Maya is great with her. She loves that she can help me out and Maya's also on the potty! We're happy whenever we see her say, "I have to go potty!" and go to the bathroom all by herself. Now, we just have to wait for Elise, as we call her to start, haha.

Three years I was done with college and we wanted a baby. I had gotten pregnant but two weeks I misscarried! We didnt want to try for a while but we wanted a sibling for Dylan! We were looking in the the newspaper when we saw an adoption add so we tried it! We adopted 1 year old twins a boy and a girl from New York. Dylan was kind of mean about it but when she held them she fell in love! She plays with them all the time now. Dylan helped us pick out the name and we are naming the boy Loyal Alexander Smith and the girl is December Rae! Loyal's nickname is going to be Alex which people will call him by! We are so excited and happy!

----I was shocked when 2 months after Shaw was born I was pregnant. When I miss carried at 3 months, we decided to adopt. We got twins a boy and girl born to a teenager just down the block. Her parents made her give them up so we told her she could name them and if she was comfortable with it she could visit and be our babysitter.
