Five months after Everett and Jack were born, my best friend and her husband were killed in a car accident.  As Caleb and I are listed in her will, we take her three children--Lola Scarlett (5), Ash Linden (3), and Caspar Giacomo (11 mos).  We adopt all three of them so they're legally ours, but we don't want them to ever forget Emmy and Scott, so we keep their birth surname as a second middle (Jamison).

Two years after Lola, Ash, and Caspar join our family, my older sister calls to let us know that her daughter, Georgia, is pregnant.  Georgia wants to keep the baby in the family, but can't care for the baby herself, and after talking it over with Caleb, we decide to adopt this one, too.  We always wanted a big family, what's another in the name of love?  Eight months later Georgia gives birth to a beautiful, healthy baby girl and we name her Bellatrix Gemma--but we call her Ella.  We nearly named her Bellatrix Georgia, in honor of our niece, but when Georgia found that out, she pled that we change it, she said she didn't want her daughter to be held back by her mistakes.  We wanted to honor her in some way, though, so we went with Gemma--it kept the beginning and ending of Georgia's name.  :)

Flame played her part of big sister perfectly not only with Aspen and Quince but also with Gary, Grace and Doyle. Aspen and Garland grew up to be best friends and Gary always showed the cutest attentions towards Quince. Grace and Doyle were beloved and spoiled by their four brothers and sisters. Our family life was simply perfect. 

Two years after their arrival in the family and just when Flame announced that she had been accepted to college for the following year, we got a phone call from my sister telling us that her seventeen-year-old (God, she was only Flame's age) was with child and that, being against abortion, she wished the baby could stay in the family. I talked to Jerry about it and after trying to tell me to be reasonable, that we already had six and that he was almost forty, he had to stop resisting because I was too happy to have another child just when Flame was leaving. 

9 months later, Jeremiah and I along with Flame, Quince, Grace and Doyle (Aspen had refused to come and Gary had followed), we went to the clinic and we welcomed our seventh kid: his hair was brown (as Jerry said: "Too bad the only one of our kids with brown hair is not really ours!") and his eyes golden. He was the cutest baby. We decided to call him after constellations: Ruchbah Sirius.

It's been two years since the boys moved in, and our family has adapted well to having 3 more boys in the house. About 8 months ago, my sister called to say my 17 year old niece Maggie was pregnant. Well, Miranda here and Ben and I have been busy with our godkids and our other kids. Lola's 15 already, Lily's 12, Olive's 9, Briana's 6 and Chloe and Olivia are 3. Man, time flies! Also, my sister, Sara called me and told me my niece, Katie is pregnant but she's only 17. So, I talked it over with Ben and we said that we would take her daughter in when she had her 8 months later. 

We were happy when Sara told me that Katie wanted to keep her within our family, what a grown up thing to do. The sweet girl has brown hair, just like Katie and she has gold eyes. Her name is Emily Sara, after my sister. Sara and Katie were so happy that Ben and I named her that and we also let Katie be involved in her daughter's life when she's not in school or activities.

--We met at a bar. My best friend was a waitress at the bar and I would go in and visit her all the time. They even let me work when it was really busy and I was short on cash. Mo was the Brewmaster at the bar. She decided we just HAD to go out on a date. She was right.

---After 3 years together. Mo popped the question, at a local Chinese Restaurant where we had our first date, it was June. I had always wanted to get married in July and I just couldnt put a wedding together in a month so we were engaged for 13 months. We were married at the bar where we originally met. We honeymooned in Italy, it was amazing.

------again with the 3s. just three months later my best friend died and left me her 3 children Cherry, Brayan and Madison.

-------life was going great. when I found out my niece was pregnant I was in total shock but when I thought about what I would do if Madison got pregnant I knew I had to help. Mo and I talked it over and decided we could do it. We let my niece name the baby and if she wants to tell her the truth someday she is more than welcome.
