You and your husband decide it would be a beautiful expression of love to adopt from another country. Since your husband is a sports star, you have some powerful friends that have adopted before. They manage to grease the wheels a little for you, getting you a baby only 1 year later.
For a name, you and your husband decide to give your child one name rooted in his/her place of birth as well as one name from your family tree (to give the child a sense of place in his/her new family).
