Creative spelling can be a lifetime challenge for your child and really does not make a common name any more unique. You may be more than willing to accept the confusion but your child may have the frustration of needing to spell out their name for people their whole lives. In addition, your child may even be judged as less smart later on down the road because his or her name is misspelled. So please use the commonly accepted spelling of any name you choose.
