Your Life Is Over Once You're a Mommy

OK, I'm starting to get freaked out beyond control. All these moms keep saying, "Your life is over when you have kids!" I'm told, "If you go out, you're a bad mom" and, "You're going to end up staying at home and watching kids while your husband goes out all night."
I've even been told my husband may cheat on me! I've been told I will lose all my friends. I've been told to forget about going back to school or getting a good job. I've been told I will never lose the weight. ... All these things are starting to scare me and have even given me a vision or two of me giving custody to my husband and running away! I would never do it, but still just a vision.
I used to be excited to be a mom, but now I'm scared out of my mind and truthfully depressed—like a child is just going to kill whoever I was. I thought a child would only add to my life, but now I'm just unsure.
