A test to confirm that you're ovulating.
What does the test entail?
Blood samples are drawn during the luteal phase, which would be on day 21 of a regular, 28-day cycle. If your cycles are irregular, you may have to go for weekly blood tests starting on day 20 and continuing until your period comes along.
What does it reveal?
If the progesterone level is significantly elevated, it means you're most likely ovulating. Better run home and have sex (wink, wink).
