Trying to Conceive: Keeping Sex From Becoming a Chore
We're trying to conceive and sex feels scheduled. How can we be spontaneous again?
Think about this: Wouldn't you want the very moment when your baby is conceived to be filled with love and joy?
Since you have no idea when that moment will arrive, the way to make this happen is to focus on being loving, rather than on conception. This is a time to be even more playful and creative than ever in order to remain lovingly engaged with each other, even though you may want to remain attentive to your most fertile days.
No matter how much you want to create a child together, if you find the experience becoming negative, take a break for a month. If you focus on keeping an open and loving heart as you try to conceive, not only will the spontaneity return, but also you will be creating a loving environment for your child ... from the moment of conception.
