New On Here
Hi everyone. I decided to join this site because I would like to make some friends who know what TTC is like. I'm only 18, but I'm ready to have my own child. My boyfriend and I started trying seven months ago, but nothing has worked. All my friends and cousins already have babies, and I really want one. It sucks but I know we just have to keep trying. Well anyways, we're going to try again this month (and hopefully conceive). I'd love to get some advice and make some new friends who understand.

Welcome! :) You learn a lot while TTC...good luck with your journey. We are 15 months into ours, and hoping that it isn't much longer. ;) From our experience, I would have to say that it is an emotional roller coaster when TTC takes a while. At first I thought I was crazy and over emotional and must be insane for some of the feelings/thoughts I had, until I found out that other women in the same situation feel the same way. Sometimes I'm at a point where I feel really upbeat and positive and like "everything will happen when it is supposed to" happy. But other times I just feel sad and hopeless, like there's nothing more I can do that I'm not already doing. Then sometimes I feel a little jealous of everyone around me getting pregnant so easily--and if everyone thinks about it, I'm sure many others have felt the same way. :) Or I feel anger toward someone who isn't taking care of a child the way they should, and I wonder why they were able to have a baby and I haven't---things like that. So don't feel alone--we all feel very emotional/insane every now and then. :)
