Sleep Positions During Pregnancy

I'm not really comfortable sleeping on my back now that I'm five months pregnant. What's the best position to sleep in?

Once you enter the second half of your pregnancy, you should avoid lying on your back because the weight of the baby will press down on blood vessels that help carry oxygen to your baby.

You may hear you should only sleep on your left side. It's true that lying on your left side will optimize your circulation and blood flow, but you shouldn't sleep only on your left side because you're trying to do what's best for your baby. Relax and lie on whatever side is most comfortable for you.

That is so reassuring. I have heard that I should sleep on my left side. It's much more comfortable for me to sleep on the right.
