Keep Family Informed About Your Baby's Arrival

They mean well, but do you really want to answer "Are you in labor?" another 30 times today? Put a message on your machine—"Baby's not here yet! We'll let you know!"—and then let it do the talking for you. Turn off the ringer and enjoy these last few hours of cry-free alone time… well, OK, hubby can stay.

Report Abuse 		Also I had to post on my Live Journal & MySpace "She isn't here yet but I promise I will update once she has arrived." The very first day I took maternity leave from work I got bombarded with emails and text messages....as if a baby would conveniently come when it was good for me. I just keep replying "not yet but remember babies are stubborn but I'll let you know."
