Get Rid of Pregnancy Headaches

As if the swollen ankles aren't enough, now you're getting pregnancy headaches, and your doc says "no ibuprofen." Try cranking up the air conditioning and closing your eyes for 20 minutes. Relaxing in a cool, dark place will drop your body temperature and calm your frazzled nerves, hopefully making that headache disappear. We don't have to tell you twice to head somewhere nice and cool to take a nap, do we?

Replying your comment about Migraines. Women who suffer from migraines in general tend to get More when pregnant, and they sometimes can be a whole lot worse to. If they're becoming unbearable then talk to your doctor. Right now baby isn't happy unless mama is right? acetaminophen "For Example Tylenol" Is considered safe during pregnancy but what ever you do, do not take things like ibuprofen. If you don't want to resort to taking medicine check out the "Get rid of Pregnancy Headaches" article here on parents connect: http://www.parentsconnect... Things like inhaling peppermint oil or other oils like almond is also heard to be good for getting rid of headaches. But not getting enough fluids can be a cause to, so make sure you are getting enough water in a day to keep you and bubs feeling healthy. Congrats, and hope your migraines dissipate. Good luck on the baby names!!

A nice back and neck massage is always nice but they come at such inconvient times in which there is no one to give you that good ol' massage. The cool towel on the head seems to work okay but I prefer to just get massaged and then lay down in a cool dark room :).
